NOTICE REGARDING ELECTRICAL APPRENTICESHIP APPLICATIONS
The Montana Electrical JATC is accepting written requests for applications January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023 for the purpose of establishing a roster for apprenticeship applicants for the Inside Wireman, Residential and Low Voltage programs pertaining to the Electrical Industry for all Montana counties. We will test and interview on a calendar quarterly basis.

NUMBERS OF APPRENTICES REQUIRED FOR THE ENTIRE STATE WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE AMOUNT OF CONSTRUCTION WORK BEING PERFORMED IN THE VARIOUS AREAS.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED 1: Must be a High School graduate or have a GED
Must provide a official transcript or transcripts from High School and any post High School courses.
REQUIRED 2: Must have completed one full year of high school algebra with a passing grade (transcripts required, equivalent to Algebra l).
REQUIRED 3: Must submit evidence that applicant is at least 18 years old (birth certificate)
REQUIRED 4: Must be a Montana resident as evidenced by a Montana Drivers License
REQUIRED 5: A $55.00 application fee, payable by check, or money order, at the time of submitting completed application and all support documents. Questions concerning this policy please call Montana JATC Office at 406-449-7173.
All applicants, upon receipt of the above requirements (mailed by the applicant to the JATC office will be notified by mail on invitation to Selection Testing to be conducted by the JATC in major cities of Montana.
All applicants will be selected without regard to their race, color, sex, or national origin.
